This website provides access to several EPA databases to provide you with information about environmental activities that may affect air, water, and land anywhere in the United States. With Envirofacts, you can learn more about these environmental activities in your area or you can generate maps of environmental information.
Information in Envirofacts is accessible in a variety of ways from the homepage. We suggest that users unfamiliar with Envirofacts begin with Quick Start. This feature allows you to retrieve a sampling of information pertaining to your area by entering a specific ZIP Code, City and State, or County and State.

The Multisystem Search Form allows you to search multiple environmental databases for facility information, including toxic chemical releases, water discharge permit compliance, hazardous waste handling processes, Superfund status, and air emission estimates. You can view the latest Data Update dates for the various databases contained in Envirofacts, and download files of the facilities or sites using the Geospatial Data Download Service.
The Envirofacts Multisystem Search integrates information from a variety of databases and includes latitude and longitude information. Each of these databases contains information about facilities that are required to report activity to a state or federal system. Using this form, you can retrieve information about hazardous waste (including the Biennial Report), toxic and air releases, Superfund sites, and water discharge permits. Facility information and a map of its location is provided.
